Soil varaibility in the Polders of Meetjesland (Bodemvariabiliteit)

The bottom of the Meetjeslandse polders is very heterogeneous composition, even within plots. With GPS-linked mobile soil sensors this variability can be accurately mapped and evaluated. In this project different lots will be scanned into the Meetjeslandse polders. On the basis of the measurements will be home in the land areas are identified and are best managed in a differentiated way. To growers advice will be given how to respond, where the objective is to optimize and minimize the environmental impact. Both crop production on the measured soil variation
