Vibration and thermal stress analyses of functionally graded materials

This project investigates vibration, thermal stresses and displacements behaviour of two- and

three-dimensional functionally graded temperature-dependant materials. It also contributes in

the study of the effect of distribution of graded carbon nano-tubes on stresses and

displacements of nano-composite cylindrical shells under mechanical and thermal loads. A

numerical method will be employed to determine natural frequencies and mechanical stress

with different boundary conditions.
