Organic constitution and historicized necessity. The development of a contemporary transcendental philosophy of co-constitution

This project reinterprets Kant's theory of the constitution of objectivity in light of his thought on biology. His organice metaphors for the notions of "system" and "faculty" suggest that the dichotomies central to his philosophy are more dynamic than often thought. This rereading is the basis for the development of a contemporary transcendental philosophy that can accomodate contingency and historicity.
