Project

Selective photoporation of the nuclear envelope to mimic pathological defects and facilitate intranuclear delivery.

Here, we intend to develop a laser-nanoparticle approach, called photoporation, to controllably induce transient permeabilization of the nuclear envelope in living cells. This will allow to mimic pathological defects which lead to laminopathies and enhance intranuclear delivery of gene editing compounds.
