Morphological feautures of the canine omentum: a study on the draining and immunoregulatory tissue organization.

The omentum is an important abdominal organ for various surgical applications in both man and animal. In the dog, no details are known on lympatic ducts, the primo-vascular system nor the milky spots. Immunohistochemistry and in vivo staining will be used to gain information on the draining and immunoregulatory features of the canine omentum.
