The Political and Institutional Determinants of Regional Integration in sub-Saharan Africa.

This research tries to determine the influence of political and institutional factors on the international trade policy of developing countries. It analyses theoretically and empirically the effect of corruption on the formation of regional trade agreements in sub-Saharan Africa and tries to generalize these conclusions to other instruments of trade policy.
