Fire resistance research on self-compacting concrete beams

In literature, the behaviour of concrete beams in and after fire is mostly described using simplified and conservative methods, which do not describe the performance of the whole process and most often doe not consider spalling. The research will investigate fire scenarios, temperature-time curves, the performance of SCC material in high temperature and the performance of concrete beams in high temperature, making use of computer simulations and beam tests.
