Identification of new molecular species and validation as biomarkers for 'succesful ageing'

Using a combination of bioinformatics and standard molecular techniques we will try to identify and characterize new non-coding RNA's (miRNA's). Once they are identified, we will try to identify the role of the miRNA's in ageing diseases such as cancer and cardiovascular diseases.
