The role of the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex in cognitive control: Evidence from TMS and patient studies

This project investigates the function of the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex (DLPFC) in two forms of adaptive behaviour, namely conflict adaptation and reinforcement learning. One part of this project focuses on the use of rTMS on the DLPFC as the most important research method. In a second part, patients with a DLPFC lesion will be studied.
