Podcast series ‘Oprecht – Mensenrechten in Mensentaal’

The podcast series will consist of conversations on a variety of topics from the perspective of human rights. It will be aimed at the ’added-value enthusiast’, defined as (1) students; (2) civil society organizations; and (3) the members of the HRRN. The objective of this podcast series is to create an innovative way of learning towards ‘added-value enthusiasts’ for nuanced and deep reflection on how complex societal challenges are connected with human rights, rather than advocating specific solutions. The podcast series will include different ‘voices’, disciplinary perspectives and types of knowledge, where oppressed, marginalized and ‘silenced’ voices will have priority. In creating four pilot podcast episodes, the aim is to understand ‘what works’ in this type of approach towards learning, to build a community of ‘added-value enthusiasts’ as an audience and to increase their understanding of human rights issues in multiple fields of study.
