RES - Regional Spatial Energy Strategy: advice note on support and guidance for spatial regional energy strategies from Flanders

The RRES is a framework within which the energy transition can grow in a controlled manner. It aims to support regional actors in drawing up spatially explicit energy strategies at the regional level.
This paper describes the desired role that Flanders should take to facilitate the area-wide preparation of Regional Spatial Energy Strategies and to provide the regions with sufficient support and guidance in this process. Several workshops, consultations and sounding board groups were held during the course of this assignment. This paper gives a concise summary of the expectations from the regional stakeholders towards Flanders for support and guidance.
