- International Policy: partcicpating in supra-regional policy on space, environment, nature and energy - ensure transposition of EU and international law into Flemish legislation, ratify and monitor reporting
- Communication and spokesmanship
- Organisational support: budgetary policy - implementation of the budget - manage all Funds (e.g. Climate Fund) - management of the variety of receipts public procurement advice - financial management system - management reporting - internal control and organisational management - remaining logistics and MOD services
