Single cell technologies applied to healthy articular cartilage profiling.

We aim to apply novel single-cell sequencing and histone modification profiling technologies to map the distinct subpopulations of cells within the cartilage and characterize their individual identities. This information is essential for us and the osteoarthris research community to understand how cells change their molecular program and follow specific trajectoreis when osteoarthritis develops. This project is proposed to obtain quality data to build on and be competitve in larger national and international calls
