Fairness Theory and Culturally Responsive Counseling: Enhancing the Therapeutic Alliance in Cross-Cultural Therapy

In the current research project we focus on the implementation of culturally responsive practices and skills in cross-cultural therapy dyads. We examine the role of fairness in both broaching and ongoing receptivity towards cultural and ethnic topics in psychotherapy. Lastly, the newly gained expertise is brought together to design the building blocks of an evidence-based training module.
