Early microglial activation contributes to long-term progression in MS

The project focuses on accelerating new treatments for people with progressive multiple sclerosis. It tries to gain new insights into the causes of progression and identify potential therapeutic targets. By determining what triggers MS progression, researchers will be better prepared to focus their efforts on developing effective treatments to slow, stop, and ultimately, reverse disability.
