Cell shape analysis in C. elegans embryonic development
Applying techniques from geometry processing to the analysis of developing embryos, using C. elegans as a model organism. This is a continuation of the work I have done in my master's thesis, in which I developed a pipeline to analyze cell shapes by decomposing them into a basis of spherical harmonics. I want to refine and improve these techniques, coupling them to forces and intracellular communication. The end goal is to better understand how embryogenesis is coordinated as a whole.
