Selective Catalytic Plastic Waste Conversion to Light Olefins

The recycling of plastics is a major challenge in moving to a circular economy. With the catalytic pyrolysis of plastic waste, it is the objective to recycle this waste stream to valuable light olefins. By modelling the reaction and the catalyst behaviour, new catalyst designs will be proposed. As a result, a higher yield of the desired chemicals is expected.
