Socio-economic experiments to evaluate the potential of GM maize: A multi-actor analysis

In 2020, China issued bio-safety certificates to two strains of genetically modified (GM) maize. To predict the impact of its future commercialization, this research will conduct a series of economic ex-ante studies that determine (1) the potential impact of introducing GM maize in China, as well as (2) acceptance and willingness-to-pay of stakeholders, including researchers’ reactions.
