Community Resilience and Environmental Justice in the Context of Extractive Industries in Rural Areas: The case of oil and gas drilling in Albertine Graben Uganda

Oil and gas serve global markets, which offers good business opportunities for Uganda. However, these extractive industries can affect both host communities and environment. Community resilience gives communities the capacity to cope with social and environmental injustice. This research examines how community resilience can lead to environmental justice in the context of extractive industries in the Albertine Graben of Uganda.
