- Research Expertise:I am a soil researcher and my current work focuses on the role of denitrification as a sink of Nr (reactive nitrogen) in soil. Recently I am particularly interested in quantifying denitrification process in different soil types, using a set of different isotopic techniques (enriched and natural abundance signatures) coupled with a complete characterization of functional denitrifier microbial community (quantification on microbial functional gene expression).
