Metal Additive Manufacturing for Moulds (METAMOULD)
The goal of the METAMOULD project is to obtain a better understanding of new 3D metal printing and hybrid AM processes on the one hand, and of innovative post-treatment techniques on the other. Its applicability for high-quality 3D printed extrusion and injection molds, manufactured from new steel types with higher wear resistance and corrosion resistance, will be demonstrated.
