Advanced Data Analytics ensuring cost-efficient security of supply and balancing throughout the BELgian energy transition (ADABEL)

To ensure a reliable and profitable energy transition, investments such as
operational decisions must be based on representative models that draw
fully part of the current DIGITALIZATION of modern electrical systems.
The main objective of the ADABEL project is to take advantage of the available data
(mainly public) to improve the assessment procedures of
SUITABILITY, short-term BALANCING and SAFETY
SUPPLY (linked to voltage control) of the transmission network
electricity. To do this, improving the understanding and forecasting of
available cross-border capacities, interactions with markets and
reactive behavior at the interfaces of the transport network will be targeted
