Real-time data assisted process development and production for chemical applications (DAP2CHEM)

The aim of the project is to facilitate the transition of chemical / pharmaceutical companies to industry 4.0, ie the integration of digital technologies and automation in production and logistics and the use of Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), data analysis and digitized services in industrial processes. This goal is pursued by on the one hand proving technological proof-of-concepts for three test cases of three chemical / pharmaceutical companies and on the other hand by creating, demonstrating and sharing these success stories and best practices with other companies. More specifically, the DAP2CHEM project generates the necessary generic knowledge for real-time data usage using 'Artificial Intelligence (AI)' systems for improved process development, optimization and production excellence in the (chemical / pharmaceutical) process industry.
