Accurate peptide/protein quantification as a quality control and normalization template for biological proteome samples prior to LC-MS/MS using the Big Lunatic microfluidic UV/vis system.

In the proteomics research field proteome quantification is often used to normalize biological samples before LC-MS/MS analysis. Current techniques available are limited and quite inaccurate (SDS-PAGE / Coomassie), all the more so because quantification has to be done before sample preparation. The Big Lunatic enables accurate peptide quantification preceding the LC-MS/MS analysis, leading to higher quantitative accuracies.
