A MALDI-8020 mass spectrometer for peptide and protein analysis.

Our labs seek to replace a 17-year-old MALDI-based mass spectrometer that is no longer supported (hardware nor software) by the company (Bruker) for a Shimadzu MALDI-8020 instrument. This instrument is a workhorse for routine qualitative analysis of peptides and small-to-medium sized proteins and will also be used by UGent researchers from labs other than ours.
