Advanced wildlife endocrinology: non-invasive monitoring 2.0 to save species biodiversity

A non-invasive endocrine monitoring method for several wildlife species will be developed by first determining which metabolites are present in fecal and/or urinary samples and rating them as potential biomarkers using UHPLC-(HR)MS(/MS) technology. We will then select the most appropriate immuno-assays for further analysis and use all the generated data for the disclosure of species’ reproductive and/or stress biology.
