With my own eyes - Re-conceptualizing visual impairment through lived experiences

This qualitative research project explores the conceptualization of visual impairment with a postmodern, bottom-up and multilayered approach. The aim is a holistic understanding of how existential, experiential and relational meaning are assigned to visual impairment. The study consists of four branches, upon subjective insider perspectives in an interdependent context, involving someone’s future orientations and parenting.
