Innovative therapies for pelvic floor dysfunction

Current clinical practice forces us to think and explore new treatment options for both urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse. This project will focus on: 1. The implementation of novel treatment options for pelvic floor dysfunction: vaginal laser treatment for prolapse and urinary incontinence and the cesa-vasa surgical technique for both prolapse and urinary incontinence) 2. Optimization of laparoscopic sacrocolpopexy (current surgical treatment of choice for apical prolapse): workflow analysis and optimization, institutial audit, MRI-study of the meshes after implantation etc...
