Analysis of pilot projects for differentiation in the last two years of primary education and 1B of secondary education

This research focuses on providing insight into the implementation processes of differentiation in the pilot projects in Flemish schools (Liège 1). Based on an innovation-theoretical framework with an eye for both action (giving meaning) and structural elements, case studies are made in which the conditions, determinants and effects of the developed differentiation practices are exposed.
Part 2 of the project takes the form of an inspiration book that systematically brings together the insights from the case studies, in addition to a series of exemplary presentations of pilot projects such as “good practice examples” (Kelchtermans & Ballet, 2009).
