Does altering running style impacts running related injuries? The effect of running style adaptations on impact shock attenuation.

Running has many positive health effects. Unfortunately runners are frequently confronted with overuse injuries, which are linked to high impacts on the musculoskeletal system. Altering running style reduces the impact magnitudes which might lower injury incidence. This research project examines the effect of two running style alterations, i.e. reducing flight phase and biofeedback, on impact magnitude and running injuries.
