ClinicalTrials.COV : Clinical long term-follow up of COVID-19 patients that underwent immuneintervention clinical trials or standard of care.

The Department of Respiratory Medicine at UZ Gent has already admitted 134 COVID-19 patients with severe lung damage, hypoxia and cytokine storm. These were randomized in two newly designed immune intervention trials (COV-AID and SARPAC). This BOF grant will be used to pay for data managers and clinical follow up to study if these patients develop fibrosis and do better when they received immunointervention.
