International Endodontic Journal 50, 215–28. An incorrect conflict of interest statement was published in the above paper. The correct statement is: Conflict of interest The authors would like to report nonsupport (i.e. cement materials free of charge) from Septodont, France and Medcem, Switzerland during the conduct of the study. Outside of the submitted work, the authors received materials free of charge for educational courses and Dr. Martens and Dr. Cauwels report personal fees (honoraria/lecture fees). Furthermore, Dr. Martens reports research grants from Septodont, France negotiated with Ghent University. The funders had no role in the design of the study; in the collection, analyses, or interpretation of data; in the writing of the manuscript, or in the decision to publish the results. The authors apologize for this error.
