Engineering sustainability or sustainable engineering

The research will be developed between KU Leuven and the University of Aruba. The research project is on the edge of sustainability, engineering, entrepreneurship, and education in Aruba. In this particular research project we will bring an engineering perspective on sustainability, a multidisciplinary approach will be applied in order to find solutions applicable for small island developing states (SIDS). The research will cover topics such as energy efficiency, carbon footprint, efficient water use, and food safety. Stakeholders engagement and citizen science will be key aspects of the research.
