Nurses' Well-being: The Role of Leadership and Work Motivation

The PhD project described herein aims to evaluate the effectiveness of an intervention on mental health and wellbeing of health professionals aimed at the redesign of the organisational environment. The framework used to guide understanding of the impact of the intervention is the Job Demands-Resources Model (JD-R), arguably the most used job stress model in understanding occupational health.
