Project

A mathematical model and algebra for competence profiles

The goal stated for the current study is a development of the mathematical model to calculate competence profiles for project teams. The key research questions are: - How can competence profiles be used to staff the projects? - How can competence profiles be built using data analytics? - How can competence profiles of project teams be described with a mathematical model? - How to calculate competence profiles with that algebra? - How will this approach improve the evaluation of gaps between individual competence profiles of the project team? - How will this approach streamline the evaluation of gaps between a project team’s overall competence profile and a project’s optimum competence profile? The secondary research questions can be summarized as: - What is a practical application of the developed mathematical model? - Which approaches should be used to assess the competences of project team? - How can the model describe changes in competences over time (acquisition / loss /…)? - How can the approach be used for training, education and competence development?
