LISA Photodiode readout ASIC development.

LISA is the first space mission to study the entire universe with gravitational waves (GW), opening up the long-wavelength GW band. As such LISA is a true discovery mission. Building on the LISA Pathfinder mission, LISA is based on laser interferometry between free flying test masses inside three drag-free spacecraft. In this project, we will develop the novel sensitive readout ASIC (LISA-ASIC) for the quadrant photosensor that is the basis for the laser metrology system. This is a collaboration with Japan and the Netherlands, who develop two alternatives for the photosensor and the photosensor package.
