Development of an in vivo autophagy modulation model of the rat liver using adeno-associated virus-mediated delivery of shRNA

The project involves the study of a cell biological phenomenon (autophagy) on an intra- and intercellular level. It also involves the develompent of a technique interesting for molecular research on autophagy in general. Although the project is restricted to liver research, the technique can be adapted towards other organs and therefore is of a broader scope.
