POLYFLAM:Polyol based Flame retardants and lubricants (POLYFLAM)

The aim of this project is to acquire new technological knowledge and intellectual property, starting from the (catalytic) conversion of short chain ketoses into longer branched sugars / polyols, the functionalization and formulation into lubricants, moisturizing and flame retardant products / applications, in view of the  creation of new economic and sustainable value chains in Flanders.
