DIGITAL DENTISTRY: SIMPLIFYING THE WORKFLOW VIA 3D MODELING AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE ASSISTANCE

Rapid prototyping has become an innovative way to produce three-dimensional models for manufacturing quickly and cost-effectively. Based on rapid prototyping technologies, biomodels have been used for preoperative planning, surgical training and medical education. So the objective of the study would be to use these biomodels in implant dentistry training for demonstrating complex anatomical situations, instructing students and treatment planning. Artificial intelligence along with digitization has seen a new era in the field of dentistry and its future aspects appear extremely promising. The field of the present objective relates to methods and systems for automatically diagnosing dental implant conditions and proposing treatment protocols that utilize artificial intelligence capabilities.
