Project

Innovative search for heavy neutral leptons using parked datasets at CMS.

This research will search for a new, heavy type of neutrino, as is predicted by several theories. Furthermore, this research is innovative as it uses a new dataset, differing from all previous datasets and being very sensitive to the potential presence of heavy neutrino’s.
This way, the probability grows for either a discovery, or the exclusion of some models.
