Project

Riboproteogenomics in aid of bacterial pathogen/host interaction studies

Using state-of-the-art genome- and proteome- oriented strategies, riboproteogenomics research of Salmonella infected host cells will be performed on both the host (i.e. phagocytic and non-phagocytic host cells) and the pathogen to increase our understanding of infection biology. This way, the knowledge gained will contribute to the development of innovative therapeutics and diagnostics for human infectious diseases.
