Precision Farming

Organisation profile:The unit precision farming investigates how smart farming systems can be used to monitor, fertilise, irrigate and protect the crop on a more effcient and precise way. Focus is put on the interpretation of remote sensing data and the use of these data in decision support systems. Besides of that, the unit evaluates the potential of further automatisation and robotisation in primary production and new developments in this domain are validated.
