Project

Strategic Innovating in Flanders (R-1906)

Strategic Innovation is a large-scale project with the aim of boosting the strategic innovation capacity of Flemish SMEs by means of a strategic intervention by consultants. The project is coordinated by the Hasselt University. The interventions within the participating SMEs are carried out by professional consultants that are selected in a public European tendering procedure. These consultants are trained in the Strategic Innovation methodology. The project is financed by means of European Funds (ERDF ├ European Regional Development Fund), the Flemish Community (Hermesfonds) and the Province of Limburg and the Province of Antwerp. The core of the project is offering the SME support in setting up a strategic conversation about innovation with the end result of a smart plan of action. The SMEs can obtain further support in the implementation of the actions.
