Senior Visiting Postdoctoral fellowship dr. Yuqing Wu (R-3299)

Prof. dr. Yuqing Wu of Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana (USA), a structural partner of the FWO Scientific Research Network "Declarative Methods in Computer Science", has visited the Research Group Databases and Theoretical Computer Science of Hasselt University for three months as part of her sabbatical leave, thanks to the above mentioned grant of the FWO. Several researchers, not only of this group, but also of other structural partners of the above-mentioned Scientific Research Network in Flanders, Brussels, Wallonia, and the Netherlands were involved in this Visit. An extended visit of three months made it possible to pursue common research interests more thoroughly and to achieve results that may lead to publications as well as to open avenues for new or continued research in the near future.
