Project

Development of cost-effective tools to optimize treatment and monitoring of drug efficacy resistance in chemotherapy programmes against soil-transmitted helminths.

Cost-effective tools to guide health care decision makers on how to optimize treatment strategies to control soil-transmitted helminthes (STH) and on how to detect development of anthelmintic resistance (AR) are not yet available in public health. Our main objective is to improve the current control of STH through the development of cost-effective tools to optimize PCT and to detect development of AR.
