IOF mandate Transportation Research Institute (IMOB) 2019-2023 (R-9963)

The transportation sector faces several challenges such as congested roadways, traffic accidents, accessibility problems, air pollution, and greenhouse gas emissions. The realize impact on society. it is important that research organisations such as the Transportation Research Institute (IMOB) can deliver demand driven solutions based on continuous interactions with stakeholders. It is in IMOB's DNA to tackle these challenges in a 'civic' vision. This approach provides a strong basis of valorisable outputs. Creating impact through valorisation remains one of the key strategic goals. The IOF Business Developer and Principle Investigators (PIs) work towards accomplishing the Tech Transfer Office (TTO) operational goals of knowledge and technology transfer.
