Developing and implementing circular economy policies at the EU level: A study of approaches, gaps and policy frameworks

The focus of this research project will be the cross-cutting circular economy concept and its application in EU policies. Several aspects of implementing circular economy policies will be studied, including the effect and contribution of different policy instruments, the key barriers faced by companies implementing circular business models, the major existing policy gaps and the challenges and complexities in designing a coherent enabling EU policy framework for a cross-cutting concept.
