The impact of the changing employment relationship on the well-being and job performance of public servants: a multilevel study of the mediating mechanisms and boundary conditions of the employment relationship

This research examines how the changing employment relationship has an impact on the wellbeing and performance of public servants. On the one hand, we examine self-efficacy, motivation and distributive justice as mediating mechanisms. On the other hand, we examine public service
motivation, red tape and the leader’s employment relationship as boundary conditions of this linkage.
