GATA3-mediated epigenetic control of human T cell development

GATA3 is an important transcription factor for the development of T lymphocytes that are important cells of the immune system. Continuing on recently published findings, in this project we wish to investigate how this protein alters epigenetic mechanisms to execute its function. Since GATA3 mutations occur in leukemia, understanding this may have important therapeutic implications.
