Practice what they preach? Attitude versus behavior in ethical decision making by police officers

Do Belgian police officers practice what they preach? Based on Rest’s (1986) ethical decision making model, this study aims to explore if there is a gap between attitude and behavior concerning ethical decision making by police officers and if such a gap can result in different moral styles of policing for
each phase of this ethical decision making process.
